Hello! I hope you are having a great week!! I wanted to give you an update on the house we are building because there has been A LOT of progress!!
About three weeks ago I shared this progress picture where they were just getting started on the framing.
Now check out the progression over the past 3 weeks!
And this next picture was taken just yesterday–framing is done!!
Today I met my builders at the home site to discuss what dimensions I wanted my fireplace framed out to be. In preparation for this meeting I have been browsing fireplace inspiration galore.

This week and next they plan to frame out the fireplace, pour the concrete floor in the garage and in the basement, shingle the roof (we went with a brown colored roof), maybe install the windows, and start on plumbing and electric.
I’ve heard that once the plumbing and electric gets started that progress feels like it comes to a screeching halt. This is because plumbing and running wires aren’t as obvious changes compared to a house being framed out (but still very important nonetheless)!
