Of course I dream for more meaningful things like world peace and cures to epidemic diseases but on a less substantial note right now I’m dreaming of a white entryway. There is something beautiful about a foyer that has been worked over in wood trim and white paint.
What once was a normal blah entry (as can be seen in the before and after below) is now a fresh, stylish foyer.

Amazing transformation, right? Inspiring, right? But let me be honest I’ve wanted to paint my foyer white for awhile now, however, fear has caused me to drag my feet a bit. Me being nervous about a DIY project may surprise you since I am usually abnormally fearless.
An all white or even mostly white entry seems like a bold statement to me but I can ‘t deny that I love it in all these photos below. So I’ve decided 2015 will be the year for painting my foyer and hallway WHITE. In fact I’ve already started as you may have noticed in the Christmas Tour. I still have a lot more to do though!
Here is a collection of 20 white foyers that urge me on to face my fear and which I think you will enjoy viewing!

All so beautiful, Tamara. I recently -with a bit of fear- painted the interior of my front door/side light system white, so I’m glad to see these examples in your post. I want to go all white, too. Soooo tired of “builder beige”, but don’t really care for colorful walls. White is timeless and elegant. Thanks for assembling these examples.
Hi, JJ! Great job painting your interior front door/side light! I bet that made a big difference. I agree I think white is timeless too and oh so beautiful! Merry Christmas to you!!
I love all white interiors, there is something so stylish and elegant about a white space.
Totally agree, Sherry! Thanks for stopping by!:-)
Great post! Thanks for the inspiration!
Thanks, Emily! Happy to hear you were inspired!:-)
