Our Central Ohio BIA Parade of Homes show takes place this Saturday September 19th thru October 4th. I look forward to going every year and this year I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek tour.
Of course I brought along my trusty camera so I could share some of the design inspiration with you all!
So without further ado–
Here is a beautiful kitchen and those flowers–wow, gorgeous!
I’m loving this floor to ceiling stone fireplace.
I really like this rug! If it was mine I would bring out more of the powdery blue tones in the décor because I love me some blue.:-)
I like these upholstered dining chairs. I think the space is missing a pop of color though. I toured the homes a couple of weeks early so maybe some of the homes weren’t done putting on their final touches.
A pretty color scheme for a girls’ bedroom. Aqua would look great with these colors too.
Such a pretty mini secretary desk!
I’m not a big fan of the wall color or the flooring but I do love this style of sink.
I thought this was a pretty room. The gray, blue, rust, and gold combo is so very rich and cozy.
The next home had a definite rustic industrial vibe.
This is definitely not your builder basic hallway.
I really like these gray “sweater” pillows.
A sweet girls’ bedroom– loving the wall treatment!
This is the Kids’ Bathroom.
This is the Master Bathroom.
Many of the homes boasted a large shower like the one below.
If you live in a cold part of the world wouldn’t this placement of the fireplace be oh so lovely?
Out of all of the 6 homes (yep only 6 in the past there have been more like 9-12 homes participating) this was my favorite exterior. It has a (large) cottage feel to it.
You guys know how much I love navy and white paired together. I love this bathroom! The walls look like wallpaper but they are actually painted! This is the main floor powder bathroom and I really like how the toilet is in a different room then the vanity–this set up could really come in handy at our home.
The first floor master bedroom– loved the color and pattern play, wood trim, high ceilings with beams, the light fixture, etc.
I would love a shoe rack in my closet like the one below. There were decorators in the closet at the time or I would have shown you more.
Pretty, eh? I was wondering if a man would feel comfortable in this space having the pink accents and all but the navy in the room really does balance it out quite a bit.
This home was created with the “retired couple” in mind. It was all one level except for a one room loft on the upper level. Here is the loft which was definitely designed for a grandkid(s) sleepover.
I enjoyed seeing the homes although not a lot of it was exactly my decorating style. I would love a chance to be part the designing process for a BIA Parade of Homes home one day! A girl can dream, right?:-)

Did you enjoy the sneak peek? What space did you like the best? Thanks for coming along with me on this tour and have a Fabulous Friday!!:-)
