Every year a friend has a Valentine’s Party for all her girlfriends. The invitees are asked to bring a homemade Valentine’s gift for each person. It is mostly a fun opportunity to get together and chat but it also enables us to be creative and give/receive some unique gifts from the heart. When contemplating what to make for 13 people this year I decided it needed to be fairly quick and easy. Below is what I came up with. I think it would work well for giving to spouses, children, and well anyone who make your heart POP with joy (cheesy I know, but hey it’s Valentine’s, you can get away with it )!
I made 2 batches of Cinnamon Bun Popcorn. The recipe I used can be found here. Doubling the recipe made 13 of these addictive, mouthwatering popcorn balls.
I tied the balls up with tulle ribbon found in Joann Fabric’s wedding section. Then I placed them in 7 inch tall plain bags (also found at Joann’s).
Lastly, I created these cheesy cute Valentine’s tags, printed them out on cardstock, and attached one to each bag with more tulle.
Final product, Voila!
