New Build- Girl's Bedroom and Bathroom Reveal -

Hello! Hope you are doing well! Today I’m back to share my daughter’s bedroom and bathroom. In our previous house my daughter shared a bathroom with her 3 brothers.

As she gets older I knew I would like her to be able to have her own bathroom so I made sure to include this in the house plans. If you’ve been here awhile than her bedroom decor will look very familiar.

I pretty much kept all of the same decor and furniture from her last bedroom because I still love it!

The main difference in her room is the light fixture and that her ceiling is bumped up. Eventually I would love to carry the pink wall paint up the side of the vaulted ceiling and then do white lacquered beadboard on the very top of the ceiling.

Sorry the picture below isn’t great quality but I wanted to show that across from the bed she has two pocket doors. One leading to the bathroom and the other a small walk-in closet.

And here’s the bathroom! The wallpaper and lower white wainscoting set the stage.

It’s a small bathroom but with lots of charm.

We used penny tile on the floor and I really like it.

I ended up having a professional hang the wallpaper. I asked him about having wallpaper in a bathroom with a shower and he said as long as you run the fan it will be fine. He said that the material used in wallpaper these days holds up a lot better. So far so good!

So there you have it–my daughter’s bedroom and bathroom.
