Tool Time with Tamara- How to Use a Jig Saw

Happy Friday!!  I hope you had a great week!  Eleanor Roosevelt is credited for stating, “Do one thing that scares you everyday”.  I can’t say that I do this everyday but today I am!

Today I’m sharing a video tutorial on how to use a jig saw and while I have done several how-to videos for you this one is different because I actually show my face!  Showing myself on video takes me WAY out of my comfort zone and you can tell in the video because when I’m speaking my lips are tight from being nervous and I look all kinds of awkward!:-)  I just have to laugh at myself.

Watching Youtube videos are how I taught myself to use power tools so I want to contribute and help others to do the same.  There’s just something about watching a few people do something and explain it that gives me the confidence to try it too!

I have had two jigsaws.  The first one was the Skill brand sold at Home Depot and HERE (affiliate link).  It was great and lasted for at least 5 years before I got too rough with it one day.  I was trying too hard to make a very sharp turn with it and the blade bent and got stuck in the tool.

I replaced it with THIS Black and Decker jig saw (affiliate link) that you will see in the video and have been very happy with it as well!

Both jig saws are only around $25 and will likely get the job done for many years (provided you aren’t too rough with it like me)!:-)

You can view my video tutorial of How to Use a Jig Saw above!  Please let me know if you have any questions about using a jig saw after viewing the video!!

If you you’ve missed my other Tool Time with Tamara videos and are interested in viewing them you can watch the one about using a nail gun and air compressor, HERE, and the one about using a palm sander, HERE!

Thank you so much for being here and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!!?
