Home Goals for the New Year!

Hello!  Happy New Year!  I know I’m a little late to the New year but I was already busy checking off a goal– doing a much needed website re-design!:-)

How do you like it?  Any suggestions?

At the beginning of each year I like to make a list of home projects I would like to accomplish as well as look back on what I was able to accomplish the year before.

Last year I was able to makeover our Master Bedroom (you can read about it HERE).

At the same time I was making over my bedroom I also gave my daughter’s room a major refresh (you can read more about HERE).

In the Summer time I was able to build a brick step and cover my existing concrete porch with brick veneers (you can read about this project HERE).

Most recently I was able to makeover our “media room” (you can read about it HERE).

And lastly I was able to help my friend/client redo her kitchen this year (you can read all about it HERE)!

This year’s home goals may differ from years past because we are considering building a new home this year!  So my first goal before I can make any other goals is to figure out what we are going to do (go for it or not go for it).  We are still trying to figure things out but I will of course keep you updated!

Do you make home goals for the New Year?  If so, what are some of your home goals this year?

Is there anything I can do to help you with your home goals?

My blogger friend, Tori Toth (you can see the posts I’ve done with her HERE and HERE), recently sent me a copy of her new book, “Make it Home:  The Ultimate Property Project Planner”.  It hasn’t been released yet but when it does I will definitely let you know because this planner is awesome for planning and executing home goals!

It not only has a ton of planning pages (this is an example of just one of them) but it also has home maintenance checklists for each season, helpful information on setting goals, and much more.

Even though my home goals are on hold right now (until we figure out if we will be selling our house or not) I have made a blogger goal to be more consistent again in my posting.  I would like to get back to posting once a week.

It would be super helpful to know what kinds of posts you enjoy the most!  Will you please do me a favor and let me know in the comment section (or email me at providenthomedesign@gmail.com) and tell me what types of posts you like the best!?

I know life is busy so even if you just want to leave the number (1,2,3,4,5, or 6) instead of writing it out I totally understand!

As always thanks so much for being here and cheers to a New Year!!
